Deadline for Financial Aid: March 1, 2010
Between November 1 and March 1
Step 1: Submit a request for Financial Aid letter to the Admissions office Step 2: Complete a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) and submit it online to School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS). We recommend that parents complete the PFS forms as soon as possible because the forms usually take SSS 1-2 weeks to process online. To submit the PFS online, go to: http://sss.nais.org. To submit a PFS by mail, please request a form from the Admissions Office.
Step 3: Mail the required backup documentation to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS): SSS by NAIS, Application Processing Center, PO Box 449 Randolph, MA 02368-0449 Required documents: · Copy of 2008 and 2009 Tax Returns (1040) and all schedules
· Copy of 2008 and 2009 W-2’s
· Signed, but not dated, 4506-T Form (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506t.pdf). This form allows St. Gabriel’s School to access your filed 1040 return (if necessary).
Step 4: If applicable, submit a Business/Farm statement to the Admissions Office. Please complete one for each business you own. You may obtain a Business/Farm statement by contacting the Admissions Office. March 1 Notification of financial aid awards mailed to families.
PLEASE NOTE: No financial aid is awarded without the receipt of official documentation from SSS. It is the responsibility of the parents and other adults involved in the process to submit the completed forms to SSS and to St. Gabriel’s Catholic School in order that they may be processed in a timely manner for the Financial Aid Committee.

Only those persons directly involved in the financial aid decision-making process or in its administration will review this information. The identity of all students on financial aid will be held in strictest confidence.
