Welcome to St. Gabriel’s Catholic School!

In 1995 St. Gabriel’s did not exist. Had you walked this ground then, you would have found only dirt, stones, scrub brush and dense trees. The only thing that did exist in 1995 was a wonderful dream shared by a visionary few. Today, in 2010, we are mindful of those who came before us whose unwavering vision, tireless work and generosity came together to build this unique place. And while we are grateful for this precious gift and for all that they have done on our behalf, in the end, they ask only that we continue to nourish this dream so that our students grow wise, act justly, and do good. Our fervent prayer is that our students, our children, will always live lives worthy of their calling.

How well we fulfill this dream is found less in the words that we might say and more in the deeds of our students. Visitors to St. Gabriel’s Catholic School find a noticeable civility and kindness, a welcoming attitude, a generosity of spirit, a rich prayer life, an enduring commitment to excellence, and an authentic spirituality that transcends mere words. Whether at Morning Prayer, during the liturgical celebrations on Thursday, or in walking the halls or sitting in the classrooms, you will see happy, reverent children actively engaged in learning and enjoying each other’s company. The children speak lovingly about their school and find joy in welcoming each day.
